No threats found after a 30 hour full scan of 4.5 million files. I've bought a new card (MSI GeForce GT 710 2GB DDR5) on EBay to replace the GTX 960 that I think is at fault. See attached screenshot which doesn't give much info. I benchmarked it with Heaven and it failed miserably. Hope the smaller card is up to it ????

The program initially opened and I followed along with the beginners tutorials, but it crashed as I was copying actions in tutorial Getting Started, Lesson 5.

I thought my computer might be under resourced so I installed new 8 Gig of RAM and a Nvidia GTX960 4Gig graphics card and the latest driver.

It still crashed so I did a clean reinstall.

It still crashes on startup.

I have attached Logs and tried to attach System info but even though Autodesk advises to save this as a .nfo, this forum post will not accept this file extension.

Hey @Anonymous,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with crashing!

I know you already did a reinstall, but can you please try again with these steps?

Uninstall Fusion 360

Check for any pending Windows updates

Turn off antivirus software

Restart computer

Reinstall Fusion 360 as Administrator

Please let me know if that works!

I did as you said except I turned off Windows Defender after the restart but before the reinstall.

Fusion 360 opened without error message but with strange pixillation - see attached screenshot. When I tried to manipulate the Open Close Save nut the weird graphics took over my desktop - see second screenshot. It appears to be some conflict between Fusion and my graphics card ???? Can I do a clean reinstall including getting rid of any cloud based elements from previous projects that might be infecting the new install?

The clean uninstall should remove anything from previous installs, but this does look like a potential graphics issue, or possibly malware. Can you please try doing a full scan of your computer and posting a screenshot of your graphics information? (Usually found in Windows under System Information > Components > Display)

If your computer has dual graphics cards, you can try running Fusion with your other graphics card by right clicking Fusion, clicking "Run with graphics processor," and selecting your non-NVIDIA card. You'll probably need to use the "limit effects" option in the graphics diagnostic window in Fusion and use these performance tips to improve use with the non-NVIDIA card.

Please let me know if that works, and if it doesn't, can you please post the updated webdeploy log file?
