change parameters window in fusion 360 not opening

Took a break recently from using fusion 360 so I am a bit rusty. Anyway was starting a new design and want to create some parameters. So, I went under modify and selected change parameters and nothing happens. Went to some old drawings and still the window will not open. Hovering the mouse over the change parameters gives a preview of the window I want. Is there a simple reason this is occurring?

We've seen a few cases where the parameter dialog gets "lost". It is there, you just cannot see it. Try the solution in this thread: parameter-dialog-box-not-showing-up, which is:

"first click the modify parameter icon then press alt+space at the same time then press the m key next press one of the arrow keys, then move the mouse"

I've never had this problem, so I cannot personally verify that this works, but others claim it fixes the problem. Worth a try.

Anecdotally, I just had this exact same issue out of nowhere and this solution fixed it.

I use dual screens.
Disconnected the 2nd one, the windows got re-arranged and the parameter window appeared again.
I think my problem occured cause I work with 2 different setups of dual screeen on my laptop.
In one setup the 2nd screen is on the side and on the other setup the 2nd screen is on the top.
Sometimes windows get lost when I switch setup
