Hi @Anonymous

I believe Inventor may run slightly better with contact sets, but I do not have too much experience working in Inventor. You could try reaching out on their forums, or downloading a free trial.

Hello Everybody

I ve got a Workstation 8 cores 32 GB RAM with nvidia quadro P2000 , but every time i activate the contact sets , the motion is not fluid,
i ve tried using simple models made of 2 Bodys , but the result is not good . the are no interferences between the rotational joints even if the nominal dimensions of road and hole are the same. Am i doing something wrong ? my computer is not powerful enough to compute ?

I don` t mind to share the model if this could help me to understand what s wrong !

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for posting! While your computer should be powerful enough to run Fusion 360, you may still run into performance issues with contact sets. Contact sets are extremely computationally intensive and I would recommend avoiding their use in Fusion. To work around this limitation, I would recommend using motion links and motion studies. I hope this helps - please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you very much .
Is "Inventor" better for these kind of operations or will i get the same issues ?
