Sending out a public link so that others can view the model is a great idea. To have the model when viewed on the web be such low quality is a huge hurdle.

What would be ideal is to have the viewable model be of the same visual quality as the native app (Inventor or Fusion). It's such a negative to spend all the time working on surfaces or components and seeing the poor representation that your client sees.

I don't know the technical challenges, but when I checked out On-Shape their web view models were pristine.

Any updates on this would be greatly appreciated.

There is a setting to "display edges" does this actually do anything meaningful? There is no difference between toggling this on and off.

Am I missing something? Are the edges the same color as the material? Can this be a 50% black? Something....

If this feature worked it would make models way more legible to view.

Thank you for posting! It actually displays edges but I admit edges are not very visible.... I'll check internally to see if there is a way to make edges thicker or change the color of edges, and post more information as soon as I hear back.

Hi Masanobu,

That would be great. If there is any way that the "Display edges" could look like the "Shaded with Edges" Visual Style in Inventor, that would be amazing.

We use Fusion Team to share our work with a lot of clients that are not very familiar with 3D models. And the easier it is to deceiver what is going on on screen the better it is.

Thanks for any solution that you can provide!

Hi @marcusfriesl,

I just heard back from the team and learnt that edge rendering has been implemented to support enhanced visuals in AEC models, and unfortunately there is not a way to customize edge rendering within the web viewer at the moment. I've passed your feedback to the development, and hopefully this will be implemented in the future.
