Unable to download render image

I can't download any of my renders and get this message pop up. I have been trying over two days now and on two computers. can someone help me please?

Thanks for posting! I've seen a few reports of this behavior lately - in the threads linked below:

I haven't received any response on the other two threads yet, and would be curious to hear if the issue occurs after a clean uninstall and reinstall of Fusion 360.

I also wonder if your logs may give any input on this issue. Please gather your diagnostic log files using this procedure and attach them to this forum thread - I am happy to have a look.

@paul.clauss, I have a similar issue, I reported here https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-support/startup-hobbyist-cloud-credits/m-p/7907288/highlight/true#M23684 as I was having an ongoing problem with rendering that got solved but I thought this was still related.

Hi @paul.clauss, as per your request, please find enclosed the diagnostic files. Brief summary: upon updating my MacBook Pro (Intel Core i7) to OS High Sierra 10.13.4 on 4-Apr-2018, I have been unable to download rendered images from the cloud service. Attempts result either (i) in a message "Alert! An error occured while downloading this image. The server may be busy. Please try again later.", or (ii) in a message "Preparing your file for downloading..." that disappears in about 2 seconds with nothing downloaded. I have tried downloading for a couple of times over 24 hours, and while the problem might not be related to the recent OS update decided to report it as possibly related to that.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Hi Paul,

I'm facing the same problem: when I'm clicking on the download button of a rendered image nothing happen.

I also try to reinstall Fusion360 but nothing have been changed.

My os is macOS Hish Sierra 10.13.4.

Thanks for the quick responses. Both of your outputs indicate that you should be able to download renderings after restarting Fusion. I would maybe try restarting the whole system for good measure.

Hi Paul

I restarted my machine but the same problem is still there: when I click the download button nothing happen.

(instead when I click the delete button the dialog panel appears as expected.)

I did try to make a new rendering but still nothing happen when I clicked the download button of the new image.

Downloading a render was never a problem before, this is a bit upsetting, because it's the same for local renders, basically I can't use any render.

Hi @paul.clauss, I made a couple of quick tries today - no luck yet. The problem still persists, "Preparing your file for download..." is shown for a couple of seconds, then disappears without any files downloaded. This is happening when ever I try to do that from the Fusion 360 application directly. However, what I have not yet tried until now, was to attempt to download the rendered images from the Autodesk Account (Product & Services / All Products & Services / Rendering / My Renderings) - that works without any problems!

So, for now, there is an easy workaround with which I can live productively.

there are two files vx360.webcomponents.js, vx360.webcomponents.lib.js.
backup these files elsewhere on your computer
Replace them with the files shared below: vx360.webcomponents.js, vx360.webcomponents.lib.js
Go to [WINDOWS] <user>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\webdeploy\production\<latest fusion version>\Neutron\Server\BatchRender\Resources\vx360.webcomponents\css or [MAC]

I didn't found any path like you suggested /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/...

but I think, after macOs implemented sandboxing you where referring to the following one:

/Users/<username>/LibraryContainers/com.autodesk.mas.fusion360/Data/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Autodesk Fusion 360/

BTW the file you specified: vx360.webcomponents.js vx360.webcomponents.css vx360.webcomponents.lib.js vx360.webcomponents.lib.css are located on my machine under the application bundle

/Applications/Fusion360.app/Contents/Libraries/Neutron/Neutron/Server/BatchRender/Resources/vx360.webcomponents/scripts/vx360.webcomponents.js

I closed the application, I replaced the original file with the files you shared, I restarted the application but nothing changed: the problem is still there.
