hello, my name is Chris, and i am an idea person. I see things that do not work and my mind just wonders off finding ways to try and make them functional or better . It is very hard for me to maintain long conversations or watch training videos. i seem to not be able to retain information long enough to complete the tasks as they are happening in the videos. i have made several attempts over the years to aquire a working knowledge of CAD software and even tried classes in Solidworks . but because i can not afford the software had to let it go. now fusion 360 is here and is allowing it's use for free to people like me FANTASTIC! NOW ALL I HAVE TO DO IS LEARN HOW TO USE IT back to my problem. i tryed to find tutorials and did most on youtube, some in other places but i did get a little intelegence and after many failed attempts, heres the problem, i have all the files from all the failed attempts and need to start over with clean slate to be able to improve. i have looked and there is not to my knowledge any way to clear the history in order to follow along with the new fusion 360 tutorials i have found and understand. there is nothing but clutter in the history files and by the time i have a clear space to work i have to rewind the lesson ...several times to get it right.

So my question is...Is there anyway to get a restrt? or remove my history so that i can follow the lessons?

any help appreciated...Chris...

Hi Chris,

Thank you for posting! You can delete the Design History in the Timeline at the bottom but I'm not sure if this is what you are talking about.

Or maybe you can promote an older version in the Data Panel if that's what you need.

If this does not help, could you describe the issue further? Also, some screenshots of what you are trying to remove would be helpful too.

Found the tutorial by retracing my steps but lost connection to the files
that they are using for examples. Have managed to get through the basics
and will keep trying. Thank you for your attention. ..Chris
