Hi @akswadi20 ,

Thanks for reaching out and I understand your frustration. I don't like it when generative design gets stuck for me either.

If you are on a student subscription, be aware that the system only lets you run two generative solves at a time, spread across all your files and all your Fusion sessions. Most often when I see GD appear to be stuck it's because you've submitted lots of jobs, and the two that are running right now are associated with a file that isn't open or even a previous version of the design.

My recommendation is to cancel all the jobs you can see (jobs with a Cancel button near them have not started to run yet), wait for the currently running and un-cancellable jobs to finish, and then start and run only two studies at a time.

If you are on a commercial contract, the maximum number of simultaneous studies is much larger, so that is likely not the problem. We ran the file you attached in your other post on this topic, and it worked fine for us. Please let us know if you are a commercial user and still having problems and we'll investigate further.

Good luck on your deadline!

Ben

I have been using GS for a model for the past week. Up till now it was working smoothly with no delays. After every study I made minor tweeks and started the study again. After the 6th study the GS is not working. I made tweaks which should not be an error as I tested GS for a trial model also and that also did not work. After the 6th study the progress is either stuck on 5%,9% or 52%.

Sharing a screen shot of the problem. Please guide me as soon as possible as I have to submit this project by Sunday this week.
