Thanks for the feedback. I would suggest following this procedure in order to edit the dwg's:

I've been trying to get a design to a sheet metal shop and am really frustrated with Fusion 360. I have a whole list of issues, but the most basic are working with DWG's converted from Fusion 360 Drawings.

My Fabricator is unable to pull dims and from the Sheets created in Fusion and wants all drawing entities moved from the individual sheets and to the model section of the drawings. I've tried accomplishing this with DWG Viewer..no luck. So I tried AutoCAD LT and 2019 cannot even open some of the drawings. It locks up every time.

In general, the sheet metal limitations are bizarre to me. Why is a sheet metal part not a component? Why can't I copy and paste a sheet metal part from one design to another? This application certainly doesn't seem well suited to sheet metal work and I'm really loosing confidence.
