I'm exporting the 2D sketch as a dxf for laser cutting. I need all the lines neat for that. Also yes I want it tidy as well...

Alright, so I have a hex pattern overlay on an object. I want to trim around the entire object at once without having to click on every line. Is this something I can do or am I doomed to trim forever?

In sketches you can window select sections at a time, for delete, but articles that cross the boundary is done with trim.

In model mode a lot of easy ways to do it, but I have not caught your design intent, yet.

Why is the trim required, Fusion doesn't need to be neat and tidy, that's a human thing.

Might help....

When using the Sketch Trim tool you don't have to click each line separately. You can "click and hold" and get them all.

See the nice demonstration starting at 1:54:

http://help.autodesk.com/view/fusion360/ENU/?guid=GUID-575F3DE0-6D0C-4B98-94E8-0F777014C20C

I would click and drag around the shape and then using normal click to trim to clean up the close lines.

This is certainly easier in other primarily 2D linework platforms.
