Cannot see Add-in after installation

I just downloaded the Mesh Intersect add-in, installed it and I cannot see the command button where it is supposed to be. I cannot even find it in the Scripts and Add-ins dialog.

Is this a know issue?

Hi @Ex_Machina_Engineering

You might have to back to add-ins and rerun it. Make sure if you do that you select "run on startup" or you'll need to do this each time.

I just had to do this after the last update to the add-ins i have as well.

You might want to navigate to the folder location for Add-ins. If they are there, that would be a different issue. If not you may need to go reinstall them.

Are you on a Mac?

I'm on a Windows 10 PC. And to be honest, I can see that my add-ins are stored in 2 different locations...

However, I have Mesh Intersect in one of them and I copied the folder in the second one.

I have active add-ins from both locations

They should be there, i'm thinking that you may need to restart your computer and give Fusion a fresh boot.

Have you tried adding it via the green + sign? you should be able to select the folder since it exists.

We could try a uninstall with the cleanup tool. It might mean navigating to the folder and deleting any remaining folders then reinstalling Fusion and then the add-ins.

I've seen a few with Mac where they don't load well but i've not had or seen any issues on Windows yet.

Actually, I went over to Github and downloaded the same add-in from the developer's page. It actually has slightly different functionality which I find even better. Added through the green "+" button and it worked fine. Don't know what was going on with the version from the app store.

Everything else worked straight away

I would leave feedback about it on the app store if i were you. Just so they can test it.
