We planning on using Fusion360 for some student projects. Previously we stored the files on premises. How can we manage the data files for a group of students, i.e., still have access to the files after the student is finished.

Thanks for posting! We are glad to hear that you are using Fusion 360 in the classroom.

To solve this problem on the cloud, I would recommend working with all the students in a team hub. The students can be deactivated from the team hub, but their data will be maintained from when they were members for the hub admins (you). You can learn more about signing up for team hubs at this link, and the detailed learning material on team hubs is available here.

The local/non-cloud solution for this problem would be to have students export local archive copies of their Fusion designs and send them to you for local storage.
