Hello Paul,

Thank you so much for your extensive reply! No need to share the affected file or logs, since the new update solved the bug that caused the Tool Library to crash. In the meantime I lifted the relevant Sketches from the Design, created a new Design and made some new Bodies to be able to continue. That worked thankfully.

Your descriptions on how to Reinstall Fusion will be handy in the future, though, so thanks again!

Best regards,

Jacco

Hi @jaccostuitje

Thanks for posting! We are sorry to hear that you've been experiencing crashes.

Do you have a link to the thread you are referring to? We saw some issues with crashing while accessing the tool library come up yesterday - I would recommend having a look at this thread for troubleshooting advice.

To answer your questions:

Sometimes errors during updates can occur with Fusion 360 - it is often most efficient to perform a clean uninstall/reinstall to resolve these issues. With a good internet connection, this process usually takes me about 10 minutes.

Display Scaling on Windows (see "Adjust display settings")

Display Scaling on Mac

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Fusion 360 CAM\Settings is a filepath that can be accessed in Windows file explorer. You can type the filepath in exactly as shown - the percentage signs are a shortcut in Windows file explorer.

The issue for the customer in the other thread was a character in the filename - does your filename include any dashes or slashes?

If you continue to see problems, please share the effected file with me, along with your diagnostic log files.
