Hi Chris,

Now, re-reading your post, this may be caused by the image extents overlapping into that area where the text is. The code that prevents the text from overlapping border geometry (and starts squishing it) is kicking in when the right border of the image is encountered. Can you try with the image removed? Re-scaling or cropping the image so it doesn't extend into that area would probably fix it too. Please let me know how it goes (if you can send me the drawing as is with image, I'd like to confirm too).

Thanks,
Chris

After the new UI update (very pretty btw), I have been trying to create several component drawings to get production quotes. However, the title block font in several boxes (the "Dept." box, "Created by" box, "Document type" box, and the actual "Title" box) is getting smashed into the space of a single letter. Can sometimes be solved by double clicking the title block, deleting the text, saving the drawing, and then double clicking the title box, and re-typing the text. However, doing so can result in other title block boxs having the font squished. I have attached a photo with a screen shot of part of the title block showcasing the squished font. Not sure if this is a bug in the update or something buried in the settings. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks

As an aside: I do have a PNG logo (with no background) in the title block I scaled and repositioned to better fit the allocated box for it in the title block.

Hi Chris,

That is clearly unexpected. Is that the default ISO titleblock? Is this a brand new drawing (guessing by the date it is). If you open older drawings do they appear correctly? Is this reproducible? Which OS are you on.

We've had some issues like this in the past where the attributes which are supposed to compress to fit once they would start overlapping border geometry misbehave.

For this specific drawing can you Output to DWG and attach or send to christopher.miller@autodesk.com?

Thanks,
Chris

Hey Chris I have emailed the .dwg file for my sheet. As I mention in the email the image file is a PNG so shouldn't have a background. I will try without the image to see if that fixes the problem. If thats the case, I will crop the image so I don't have to scale the image in the title block editor.
