Looks like I have encountered a bug in flat pattern dxf export.
Here is a simple sheet metal part copied from a bigger assembly: https://a360.co/2K5BTfa . Everything works fine when you activate that part's flat pattern and then export it as dxf - you will see two bend lines. But if you try to recreate the flat pattern (delete it and then create a new one) you will see only one bend line in the exported dxf.

Actually, I had to save that part to a separate file to get a correct dxf. It shows only one bend line when exporting directly from the original project. And this trick fails with another part - https://a360.co/2ytgDyB . I couldn't find a way to export it with all the bend lines included.

Hi @dshaded

Thanks for posting! I had a look at this and was able to recreate the issues you described in your file. I did find, however, that the issue appears to be related to the use of the "Shell Steel" sheet metal rule in the file - all other rules exported properly in any file I tested with, but that rule had problems.

I then recreate the rule and found that the issue was due to the bend radius of 0.01mm. This is a very small bend radius - I was able to get the bend lines in the DXF by increasing the bend radius to 0.25mm (=Thickness/4). I don't have a ton of experience with sheet metal manufacturing, but one hundredth of a millimeter seems very small to me - please check this rule and let me know if the 0.01mm bend radius was an intentional choice that is manufacturable for you.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Paul!

Thanks for your attention. Yes, these settings are intentional and actually came from the workshop. Near-zero bend radius and zero K-factor are really weired but that's what they asked for. And I've seen some actual samples made in metal and they are good enough for my purposes.

So, changing bend radius to a more reasonable value is not an option for me right now.

Hi @dshaded

Thanks for the response. I'll take your word that zero k-values and bend radius' of that size are used in industry and are manufacturer and log a ticket with the development team to look further into this behavior (internal reference FUS-41152). We appreciate you bringing this to our attention!

To work around this issue, you can project the bend lines from the flat pattern into a sketch, as shown below. Please let me know if you have any questions.
