Can't suppress last duplicate under arrow in rectangular pattern

I can't seem to suppress the end polygon in a horizontally extended rectangular pattern.

To reproduce, follow these steps:

Create a sketch
Create an inscribed hexagonal polygon, i used a 3mm radius
Select rectangular select
Select all six sides
Click & drag the right arrorn to duplicate along the horizontal axis.
Ensure a quantity of 6
Ensure that Suppress is selected.
Attempt to click the check box on the rightmost duplicate in the pattern to suppress it.

In my tests I was able to suppress a smaller number by double-clicking the checkbox under the arrow, but I can't do it for a count of six. The cursor also doesn't seem to change from a drag cursor to a pointer to indicate the check box is clickable.

I am new for F360, so I could be doing something wrong but it seems like a bug.

I am sorry to hear that! As I tried on my end, I found this often occurs with the Quantity of less than 4 and also it sometimes occurs by single-clicking. Did you see the similar behavior with me? What OS are you using? - I am trying to recreate this on Windows 7. If I missed something, please let me know and I will discuss this internally.

Hi, yes I'm using Windows 7 at the moment also, the main problem seems to
be tha the arrow UI element is occupying the same space as the checkbox and
sometimes there is trouble single-clicking "through" it.

This happens on Mac OS Catalina also, Fusion 2.0.6670 with a duplicate count of 5.

Just a generic whinge, as long as we are talking placement, but the mini dialogs also seem to be in bad places, like right over what ever I want to check, like measurements. On the other hand, i need to click only close to things to get them to highlight for selection, rather than right on them. So on one hand Fusion obscures the desired selection and the other it is guessed at. This is particularly annoying when selecting faces or contours in Manufacturing. But I digress.

This happens always if Distance Type is "Extent" and Quantity is odd (eg. 15).

I just tested pawelwod's statement and can confirm.

When using an even amount it works perfectly.

Testing this I noticed a temporary workaround for people who really need this :

You can just set your pattern as usual (extend and odd numbering if needed)

then before you suppress just swap 'extend' to 'spacing'.

It will make the arrow go away while keeping the distances and you will be able to suppress the last item.

I found this topic after being afflicted also by this behavior... it's kind of a dumb problem, isn't it ? 😅

Thanks for the advice to switch between extent <-> space to put the arrow away 👍

If the bug was ever fixed, it's back. =[ HOWEVER - I found a workaround: Bring up some other application - Chrome is where I went. With the Chrome window active, I can hover the mouse over the checkbox in Fusion 360 and click it. This switches context over to Fusion 360, but properly delivers the checkbox event to the application and it becomes checked or unchecked.

Nasty.

Can confirm this is still a problem for me.

Mac OS 11.1
The workaround of switching to another app didn't work either. It seems to me that it's impossible to suppress this copy. Very frustrating!

Hi,

You can escape this state if you temporarily switch to the "Space" option.

Nevertheless, it is an unpleasant state.

this has been reported here: bug-report-cannot-suppress-the-first-objects-in-square-sketch . A Fusion bug has been logged for it. Thanks.
