I place the browser window and toolbar at the left edge of the screen. After a few minutes, they both shift to the right about an inch, with the toolbar moving down about 1/2", and I move them back. I have not been able to identify any type of operation which triggers this. How do I get them to stay in place?

Fusion 360 version 2.0.4285

Macbook Pro macOS High Sierra v10.13.5

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for posting! I have not been able to reproduce the issue with the windows moving on their own, but do have a few thoughts here.

Does the browser stay put if you dock it? To do so, drag it to the left side of the Fusion 360 window until you see a green bar and then release the click. For the toolbar ribbon, grab the double lines on the left hand side and move the toolbar upward until you see green.

Are your graphics drivers fully updated? Please update them as necessary - out of date drivers can sometimes cause UI problems like this.

Hopefully this helps! If you are able to capture the move of the UI elements in a screencast or determine a specific command causing the move, please attach the video or description of the command to this forum thread. We appreciate your input!

Sorry for my delayed reply, Paul. Initially I couldn't replicate your green lines that you showed so well in the screencast. After my lesson, I updated my OS to High Sierra 10.13.6 and immediately got the green lines. I was finally able to make the browser window dock and have a transparent background. Prior to that, it was simply a separate opaque window. Thank you!

-Ken
