"Error: 0
Cause : This is an internal error and should not occur under normal circumstances. The primary
cause of this error is due to insufficient disk space.
Action : Check to make sure there is sufficient amount of space on your hard drive. Purge the
temporary files and re-run the analysis. If you are running the analysis on a remote
file system (i.e., through a network), attempt to re-run the analysis on a local hard
drive. If the problem continues, please send the Model Input File to Autodesk
technical support. Note the version of Autodesk Nastran you are using."

I am getting this error intermittently and I cant quite figure out what is going on. There is no way that I am out of disk space... 361 GB of free space on the drive that it is installed on.. I have cleared the cache and temp drives and I still get the same error.

Hello @Anonymous,

Could you tell me how Fusion 360 was installed? Was it installed using the same Microsoft computer account you are currently using or was it installed using another (Admin.) account?

To reconfirm, if you click on the Fusion 360 Desktop Icon>Properties>ShortCuts>Target, is "FusionLauncher.exe" found in the same drive you referring to?

Regards,

Shigeaki K.

Hello @Anonymous,

>I have cleared the cache and temp drives and I still get the same error.

Did you use the "Clear user cache data" found in the drop down menu next to the "?" in the Fusion UI? If so, could you try deleting the cache manually. Please make sure that Fusion 360 is closed before attempting the following

For Windows, could you make a copy of the below folder, and then delete the folder.

C:\Users\<Computer User ID>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\<File name with numbers and upper case letter>\W.login

For more information on clearing the local cache please refer to this article "How to clear local user cache in Fusion 360"

I did use the "Clear user cache data" found in the drop down menu next to
the "?" in the Fusion UI.

I deleted the W.login folders found in the three "*
and upper case letter>" *folders that I located as described.

I also found that clearing the folder *C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Nastran
2018\Temp* seemed to help.

I will advise if the problem persists.

Thank you,

Hello @Anonymous,

thank you for the information. I just checked with the Product Team and they mentioned the deletion of %temp%/Neutron as another option.

I have also noticed that running a simulation leaves a folder in C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Nastran 2018\Temp. I will inform the Product Team of this behavior.
