Apologies for not replying sooner. Oddly, nothing I tried, including the things you listed seemed to work. I ended up doing a fresh install of windows with some new hardware and the problem has subsided. Not super helpful for most users who encounter this issue.

To answer your question, it had been working excellently. I didn't add or install anything new or different. In the middle of a session it suddenly stopped working as expected and wasn't resolved until I essentially did a fresh install of windows.

On my new setup the problem has not presented itself.

So I've been running fusion 360 for about 2 weeks now, with minimal issues. Suddenly tonight I'm experiencing an issue where my 3d mouse seems to only be able to interact with one axis of movement at a time. I.E. it can rotate on a single axis, pan left to right/up down, or zoom in and out. It can no longer do these things simultaneously. This completely changes the feel and effectiveness of the mouse and is very strange to navigate.

Has anyone else experienced this? I know there have been other issues with the mouses, but with my research have not been able to find this.

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for posting! Has the Spacemouse worked more smoothly in the past on this computer?

There are a few tricks I've seen fix this type of behavior before:

Windows/Mac/OS system updates can often help communication issues between the mouse and Fusion - 3D Connexion does not officially support Fusion 360 and communications can be imperfect.

Reset Defaults in the 3D Connexion drivers setup dialogue can help.

Please ensure the 3D Connexion drivers are fully up to date.

Ensure all graphics drivers are up to date as well.

Using the Orthographic camera option instead of perspective can resolve issues with being stuck zooming and unable to roll or orbit.

Restarting Fusion 360 or the computer can often resolve this issue as well.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you continue to experience problems, I'm happy to assist.

Having this same studdering problem. The issue comes and goes. It seems to have to do with the pivot point, or something.
