Hi @Anonymous,

Traditionally this is due to a corruption in your offline cache. To fix this:

Close Fusion 360

Open Finder/Windows Explorer and Navigate to:

Windows: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\<alphanumeric folder>\W.Login

Mac: Macintosh HD > Users > (username) > Library > Application Support > Autodesk > Autodesk Fusion 360 > (alphanumeric folder)> W.Login

Rename W.Login to Backup_W.Login

Relaunch Fusion 360

Does this work?

Thanks,

My Fusion 360 was working, but yesterday when I tried to load it, the software problem started occurring. I submitted my error report (CER_179000069) but haven't got any response.

I checked other posts, and thought it could be graphics card issue, so I tried to install Fusion 360 in a different computer but with same graphics card. Fusion 360 can load in that computer.

I have all the personalization settings and tool library only in my current PC, really want to bring it back.

I just tried renamed the W.Login to Backup_W.Login in that folder, the software error problem persists.

I saw the Fusion created another W.Login when I tried to launch it after the renaming.

Hi @Anonymous,

That is to be expected - the W.Login folder contains your offline cache, upload queue, etc. If you need your offline cache back, delete the newly created W.Login (with Fusion closed), and change the name of the back up one to be W.Login again.

I looked into your CER and it looks like it may be related to an add-in gone bad. Do you have any add-ins that you use for Fusion?

Thanks,

Hi @Anonymous,

In the logs I notice an error about your system time. What time zone are you in? Can you please try syncing your clock with internet time, and then reinstalling. Ensure that your time zone, and daylight savings time settings are correct. Does that fix it?

Note those instructions are for Win7. For Win10 - follow this.

I figured out the problem.

It's the corrupted file (the GMT +6 file) in the Autodesk shared folder. I did a disk scan, fix the corrupted file and manually delete the Autodesk folder in the Appdata. Now I successfully reinstalled the Fusion 360.
