OK button grayed out for Post Process

Since the update to 2.0.4385 on OS X 10.13.2 the "OK" button for the Post Process dialog in CAM is grayed out randomly. I have not found a way to recreate the bug--I will randomly click around on the screen, select and unselect a setup, regenerate tool paths, eject my USB drive that I post to, etc... At some point the Fusion gods will sense my suffering and graciously allow me to save the code and continue with my day.

Anyone else experiencing this? Can't think of anything else that has changed on my system.

EDIT: One thing I noticed after writing this and attempting to post again is that the dialog will pop up and the OK button will be enabled for a few milliseconds before graying out. Some code is running that detects a no-go situation and disables it.

Thank you for posting about the issue! Personally I haven't seen that issue and am having hard time reproducing it.

Does it occur in any designs or is it specific to one design? Does it make a difference if you restart the program?

Still no resolution. I've tried restarting which doesn't help.

The only thing that sometimes work is re-inserting the USB drive I save my .tap file to. It defaults to that drive and sometimes if isn't cleanly ejected I have to unmount/remount several times.

I'm experiencing the same issue. I can force the OK button to become enabled if I temporarily choose another post processor. (And when I switch back to my desired post processor, the OK button remains enabled.)

Same here - has been randomly coming in and out. As stated above, sometimes switching the PP back and forth fixes it. I've tried uninstall/reinstall and quit/restart and running no other software. it comes and goes.

I'm on the latest version of Mojave, 2018 MacBook pro.

Yeah, still no resolution on my end. I've resigned myself to clicking Post Process, immediately hitting escape to close it, and then clicking the PP button again.

Unfortunately I'm having the same or similar problem as well. I haven't found a way to get the okay button back without restarting Fusion. I can run one post process but after that I have to restart Fusion to run another one even after making a change.

Yep same here on a mac

if as a test I use a fanuc post ( to compare code ) the ok button is NBG but go back to a mach4 pp all is

I think it’s related to the WCS setting

The issue remains for me. (See previous post for a workaround.)

I'm on a 2016 Macbook Pro, running High Sierra.

The most frustrating thing is that even with the workaround, the output directory is lost so I have to re-navigate to the desired output location.

this has recently started happening to me as well...it's very frustrating...especially for prototyping where I'm constantly tinkering with he machining file.

Any resolution on this Autodesk??

Seems sometimes it can be turned back on by changing post processor and back again, equally randomly by escaping and trying again.

Restart does nothing here, same fault.

Had to try 8 times to post a file yesterday, really irritating.

This has happened for me a few times in the past. A restart of my Macbook Pro or even sometimes just Fusion would resolve it. Today, after the update nothing's working... I need to cut some parts, but I can't post!! What gives Autodesk?

Only fix i can find is to close the post-process window and immediately reopen it, sometimes two or three times and it works, once.

Its a PITA.

Hey guys, we've had someone else report this issue and he used the following workaround: click on the post list and reselect a post. Please check to see if it works for you.

Yes, same as cancelling the post process and re-opening it, trouble is its intermittent and only ‘fixes’ it for one-time.

Restarting the app, much less restarting your computer is *not* a solution.

Autodesk--is this problem on the to-be-fixed list? It's a relatively minor problem but is a pain.

Usually, switching the post and switching back solves the problem for me. I wonder if it has to do with the ability to look up a cloud post. I haven't noticed it since I switched to a local post file.
