Eagle PCB thickness not appearing correctly in Fusion 360

I've not had this problem with the other PCBs I've pushed from Eagle to Fusion, but this time the PCB thickness is incorrect. In Eagle it's 0.7912 mm but in Fusion it's 0.656 mm. I've attached screenshots from both tools. I have a plausible theory: the presence of blind vias in the stack-up is confusing Fusion. If one changes to zero the thicknesses of the layers involved (L3, L4 and the material between them), the sum is 0.6556 mm, which rounds to 0.656 mm. So, this looks like a bug. Not sure if it's on the Eagle side or the Fusion side.

Thanks for posting. Would you mind sharing the PCB board file you are working with in EAGLE with me? I have not observed this behavior before and would be interested to have a look at the .BRD file. You should be able to attach the file directly to this forum thread.

Hi @scott,

What you saw is a limitation of the current Fusion Sync workflow. Because Fusion can't really support 3D-boards of four or more layers, the thickness/isolation between the top and bottom layers will be ignored. The issue is on our radar and we are improving the workflow!

Ah, I see -- good to know! This is an important improvement to make, since many (most?) board designs are 4+ layers, and ones which are complex enough to need interaction with mechanical CAD tools are, I believe, more likely to be 4 layers and up.

Hi @scott

You could consider matching the thickness of the EAGLE board in Fusion using the procedure in the screencast linked below. Board thickness in Fusion does not seem to effect the DRC layers, so you could just make the overall thicknesses match if desired or necessary to work around this limitation while it is addressed.

Hi Paul,

Unfortunately, our board shape is quite irregular. I've attached a screenshot here. I don't really know how to use Fusion 360, so I'm not sure how to translate the operations you showed in the video on a rectangular board to a board outline made of up arcs and line segments. Maybe it's simpler than I think?

Hi @scott

Thanks for posting. The operations you will use will be identical to the ones in my video - you'll just need to project the entire outer perimeter of the board by clicking on the edges (arcs, lines, etc.) where I clicked on the four outer edges of the rectangular board. As long as you can create the closed profile for the board you should be fine.

Hi Paul,

My lack of history using Fusion 360 is likely the culprit, but I'm unable to duplicate your actions from the video. The Sketch and Project palettes don't usually appear, and although I can select all of the edge features of the board, the Break Link option doesn't come up when I right-click. I don't want to bother other people with these problems, but I'm stuck. If you're willing to talk me through this, please send me a private message and maybe we can have a brief phone call.

This solution seems to be not compatible with the actual version of Fusion 360 (V 2.0.9011 on Windows 10). Is there a actual work around or solution for this problem?

It seems that this workarounf doesn't work in the latest version of fusion 360 ? No field "thickness" is available in the window "edit PCB". Is there a new way to set the correct board thickenss ?

I'm using fusion V2.0.9439.

You can change the board thickness in the DRC dialog:

1. Go to 2D PCB workspace, switch to tab RULES DRC/ERC

2. Click the DRC command;

3. From the DRC dialog, go to Layer tab and change the thickness there
