I'm trying to fillet a 90 degree intersection which is usually straight forward. My problem is when i try to fillet this particular intersection, the intersection moves inwards aswell. I think it might be because its trying to continue with both of the curves, which is why it forms a point inwards, but I'm not sure. (The reason there's a chamfer where I'm trying to fillet is because i was just seeing if the dame thing happened with the chamfer tool)

Can anyone help out?

You gave you model but you did not indicate "where" you wanted the fillet placed. Add a screen capture and point to the location.

Hey jhackney1972,

Thanks for you help. Just used your model to increase the fillet to a 20 radius (forgot to mention the radius originally sorry) and the same thing happens. It's just not noticeable at a radius of 10.

Thanks

I started with you original model and did 20 mm and 40 mm and it works fine. Attached is the model with a 40 mm radius. Take a look from the side view, the fillets look matched and no bulging as I can see.

Sorry, forgot to mention it's only noticeable from the front-on back view. If you view view it like that you can clearly see the points, it's just not noticeable in at any other angle

If this is what you are speaking of, see screen capture, it is because of the rounded end and sides and their influence on the fillets. I do not know how to change this except to add a small straight section to each edge before filleting.
