Text missing from menus and buttons

Hi,

I am trying to start the tutorials but keep having this problem where the text in the menus, options and buttons is missing, meaning it's literally unusable. Any advice please?

Also this form sucks. It keeps deleting what I've entered if I try click Post and haven't done all the asterisk boxes.
