Re-order items in browser - time to fix?

Hi,

It is now two years ago you said you would fix the issue that you can no longer reorder items in the browser. Isn't it about time to solve it?

Hi @hoegge

Thanks for posting. I think I can provide some insight here.

The ideastation post discusses that we are currently unable to reorder the browser due to workflow limitations. This involves the link between the timeline and the browser tree.

Decoupling the relationship between browser reordering and timeline reordering will be large project to do right. The team currently has higher priority projects in the works and will revisit this topic when Fusion 360 reaches a level of maturity that makes this a higher priority.

We appreciate your input on this and apologize that this is likely not the answer you want to hear. @TrippyLighting has discussed a situational workaround in this thread that may be helpful as well.
