after a few months of drawing a simple 2D object there was no problems at all.

but when the time is passed us, and a view updates further Fusion 360 is coming very slow in all what I do.

a simple Fillet of two lines take about 15 minutes.

and at the same time my computer does noting, the CPU 12% memory 1Gb HDD zero

when I look in the forum of Autodesk I see a lot of topics whit the same problem.

Can you look at this it is very irritating

I have not changed my computer sins a year of so that is not the issue.

How many curves are there in the sketch? Is it an imported DXF or SVG, from all the constraints I can see I think you have a lot of curves in the sketch, more than a few hundred will bring Fusion to a standstill. If you have to work on complex 2d sketches Fusion's probably not the right program. If you can share your design you might get more advice.

from the screen capture, it looks like there are hundreds of parallel constraints in this sketch, and that means that the sketch is composed of a huge number of very small line segments. This is not an efficient way to construct a sketch. Instead, you should replace all those small line segments with a single spline curve.

Hello,

That My sketch have a lot of constraints thats right but a few weeks ago it was not an problem

It was a litle bit slow but it was workable

Now can I not disable a radio button and Fusion is not responsing.

I must wait for 5 minutes

And how do I easy way change the constraints to spline?

Then you were experience some sort of miracle a few weeks ago. Sketches are like delicate little butterflies- you've loaded that one down with a cubic meter of concrete.

You'll have to re-draft all the elements created with those little lines- and Delete those fragments. The Spline tool is found on the Sketch menu.

You really need to familiarize yourself with basic Fusion functions before tackling this challenge; there are a great number of tutorials ranging from simple tool use to advanced designing. Start here:

@PvdBos Email attachment are removed, you'll need to zip the DXF file then come to the forum and upload it.

One question first though, how have you ended up with all the constraints, DXF files import totally unconstrained so did you manually add them? This could be why you were able to work with the file originally but now you have all the constraints it's totally unworkable. Try starting with a new design and import the DXF, still I would not recommend importing DXF files with more than a hundred lines or so if you want to then try editing them.

@PvdBos No file attached, how did you reply to this thread. Email replies are striped of attachments, you need to use the forum to attach your files.

You also didn't answer how you ended up with all the constraints, did you add them manually? The probability is you've add too many constraints not Fusion updating is the problem.

oke another try

this is my concept design of a Mandolin F-5 body

I have now export this DXF to an PNG image and imported in Fusion set it on scale 1:1

and redraw it with spline it's now very quick to edit.

I have an image of an "The Gibson Lioyd Loar F-5 Mandolin Plan" that I imported in Fusion 360

and redraw it step by step. But it was not on scale it's was to big in the begining, afther that I rescale it to 1:1

it was not a issue at that time But after a few updates and when I open my file and edit again Fusion 360 was not responsing on all what I do.

Take a look at this post it has some good advice on working with splines.

It's best to set the size of the image rather than scale, scaling splines can be a bit unpredictable. After importing the image right click the image in the browser and select calibrate and set it's size.
