How to change material for part

My official first post. I am trying to change the material properties from steel to Plastic ABS. I select "Modify", "Physical Material", "Plastic", and when I mouse over ABS I get a hand and cannot select it. Is there another way to change the Materials Properties? Sorry, I posted to the wrong section.

In order to change the physical material on your part, I believe you have to click and drag the material you want (in this case, ABS) to your part. Just clicking on the material doesn't do anything. You can also access the "physical material" dialog by right clicking on the body or component in the tree.

Has this changed since 2018? no matter how much I try to change the appearance of the part, it still shows up as steel in the parts list of the assembly drawing I'm working on.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Materials (properties) and Appearances are two different things.

I was trying to model some bullets, and I couldn't make it with the right materials on fusion.

It appears that you have Surface Bodies rather than Solid Bodies.

Also, you are not showing the Materials in your browser.

And, there is an unresolved issue highlighted in your Timeline.

Move is almost always the wrong move as used by beginners.

The main bodies of the bullets are made of brass, the top of the slug is made of steel, and the top of the other bullet is made of copper.
