Drawing dimension - missing points

I am having issues selecting points for dimensioning drawings. On the image below, I want to select the top point of the circular shape, but when I try to select that point, Fusion selects the bottom point of this shape (green square). As you can see, there exists an curve (curve selected), so it's not a matter of the point not existing.

Is the point you are trying to pick and end point? If not, right click during creation to specify which snap point you want.

Without having the model/drawing I can't check what snaps would actually work.

Right - clicking to select the type of point (Endpoint etc.) doesn't help with any of the types. I have attached a .dwg file below (it is very incomplete, still). Let me know if this is suitable.

Hmm what point would you be selecting here? Its not a tangent, end or mid. The top of the curve is quite irregular and based on a spline. The general rule i follow is that if i can't select that point with Inspect in modeling then i will not be able to dimension to it.

Well, even though the curve looks like a spline, it is actually a set of arcs. I specifically designed it in this way so that I'll now be able to dimension it. Have a look at the screenshot below. On my sketch, it is evident that the point I want to select on the drawing exists. I want to select the top point of the small arc (also selected on the screenshot I attached).

I do not have that sketch from what you sent or the complete model. So If that is indeed a an arc endpoint(i'm inclined to believe you), the the issue may be in the slice function. That view is interpreting it as a spline rather than arcs. AutoCAD is doing the same thing. I think i've verified this in the file you sent, the bottom sliced part works fine in to snap to the top point.

Hmmmm, then I assume the only way to dimension this is to prevent Fusion from converting it to a spline. How could i do that? I'd prefer not posting my design in public.

You could create sketch geometry that is orthogonal to the view being created, then snap to it. (say two points at the top of the arc's) Or find a slice or view that shows the arcs.

You don't have to share the file, it just helps so i can send photos. IF you felt like you needed to, you could send me the public link in a DM or PM. Really theres not much more I'd do that we've not discussed.
