Problem with components origin

I have made a drawing with fusion 360 . When I made this drawing with a new component the origin came automatically in relation with te new plane. So a different origin as the original.

Now I am making a new drawing with a new component on a plane with an angle in relation to the old plane. But now the origine of the new component is on the same place and angle as the main origin.

I already restored preferences defaults but that did not solve the problem. What am I doing wrong.

the "capture positions" icons in the tool bar indicate that one or more components have been moved. When a component moves, it's origin moves with it, so this is exactly what I would expect to happen. I don't think you are doing anything wrong at all. What problem is the origin's movement causing you?

My problem is that when I want to 3d-print within cura the component block on the angle seperately from the big block it comes in an angle to cura. It is inpossible to lay it flat on the floor in cura. When the origin was based on the angle of the big block it the component comes flat in cura. Another method to do so?

In the example I want to print the grey component. The origin of the bottom is used for sending it to cura.

Maybe is there an other solution to 3d print a component without difficult/impossible rotation in Cura.

For me should be the best way to decide in fusion, what the bottom is, before exporting stl for importing in cura?

@Anonymous, it's a little hard to say from just the images. If you can share your design here, it might be easier to investigate. I think that STL export (used to send to Cura) should export a body in its local coordinate space. So, it should come in relative to the origin of that component. Unless you have a Body Move in your design, that should be the same as the orientation it was created in. Do you have any Body Move items in your timeline? They will look like this:

@jannemannekes, thanks for sharing the file. Yes, that is the correct way to share a design. But, I'm not quite sure I understand the problem you are concerned about. There are no Move Body features in this design, so the component here (vlak 1) is in the orientation it was, with respect to its own origin, as when it was created. And that orientation is respected when exported to an STL file. So, yes, it should appear in Cura at the same orientation with respect to its own component origin as in the design.

Now, if you are asking whether you can move the body so that it is aligned with its origin, the answer is yes. See the screencast below. However, that will make it so that the component is no longer in the orientation it needs to be for the assembly, so that seems to me like a bad option.

It's been a while since I've used Cura, but I thought it had a "lay flat" capability, which would help with this. This help page I found seems to indicate that this is possible: adjusting-the-model. I suspect that would be an easier option for you than to try to adjust it in Fusion

The option flat in cura isthe solution for me. Trying to do it manually did not work, but did not know that the option "flat" was in Cura.Thank u very much. Was a big problem for me tha last week. That's where forums are important and handy to learn from professionals:)
