Hello,

I'm using the sculpt and model function the most in fusion 360. But since the latest update fusion crashes very regular 5-10 times an day which is annoying since the auto update function is slowing down performace an lot so had to put that back in 30 minutes. With so much crashes and hangs on almost any file where I converted mesh to tsplines and eventually to body's fusion is crashing an lot.

Before this didn;t happen as often as since this update. Also it seems some function are broken / changed since the latest updates. subdevice in tspline is not working anymore splitting it in 3 rows give over 100 faces and stuff like that.

So not very happy about the performance and stability since the latest update.

Hi @sales3DK3F,

Can you create a screencast demo'ing the Sub-Divide issue? That one I would like to investigate. Just to check - how many facets are you trying to convert to t-splines? This is definitely known to cause long hangs and performance issues.

When you crash, are you generating and sending Crash Error Reports? Can you provide some of the CER numbers.

Thanks,

Every error which get to the send an rapport is send to autodesk.
But also an lot of crashes just hang fusion.

And it's not with converting to t-splines this time it was just with adding an new face in the sculpt evironment.
I'm aware of that cnverting mesh to t-splines can take an lot of time because I'm using it an lot. But the crashes are on the most simple actions. Adding faces in the sculpt enviroment is an pretty simple function but welding edges is also making it crash quiet often this all started with the latest update.

I'm not sure where to find the CER number

Ah when reporting the issue the code is only shown at the reporting site.
This is the latest code: CER_186720431

Hello @sales3DK3F,

thanks a lot to reaching out to us once again and for sending the crash reports.

I can see that Fusion 360 still keeps crashing on your machine. Since the crashes are related to various environments and operations, I would like to make sure first that this is not a hardware issue:

Does your machine meet the System requirements for Fusion 360? Pay attention to the Windows version that you use in particular

Which graphics card are you using? Can you make sure to install all the latest updates for the graphics card driver?

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,
