One possibility is to install parallels and that can help you get Fusion installed on windows.

I can't install Fusion on my Macbook Pro because it is mid-2014, the maximum operating system I can install is Big Sur, I can't go beyond that. I talked to support but they say they go hand in hand with Apple. Is there a workaround to still install even just an older version of Fusion on my computer? Thanks for your advice!

Or since they have a Mac that is Intel (as pre-M1 Macs are before 2020), they can install boot camp on their MacBook Pro. Boot camp will allow you to dual boot macOS and windows via partitions on the same machine. Even if you boot camp windows 10 it should be sufficient to run F360.

You can give the web browser version a try if you are subscribed to F360 via a student or school account, which gives you all of Autodesk software for free until you no longer can reverify every year.
