Update. I went back through each update and the best i can figure is that it wasn't playing well with my Nvidia driver. I updated the Nvidia driver and restarted the system again and my Browser is back.

If anyone comes across this problem I would suggest checking your graphics driver to make sure it is the most current.

Browser not visible

This morning when I opened Fusion 360 the browser was no longer visible. It was working fine yesterday evening. I have 2 licenses of Fusion 360 so here is what I have tried so far.

Commercial Version UI Preview on

Commercial Version UI Preview off

Educational Version UI Preview on

Educational Version UI Preview off

Every workspace including Mesh, PCB, Base Feature, Generative etc

Minimize/Maximize Fusion 360 and move monitors.

Open Files and create new files

Clear Cache

Turn off Capture History(which i can't turn back on)

I know the menus/Browser are rendered differently than the graphics but all other dialogs and menus appear including the sketch palette and tool tips for feature dialogs.

The only thing that happened between yesterday evening when i was using Fusion 360 and this morning was a Windows update that pushed itself. See attached image for the updates.

This machine is using Win 7. I also checked my laptop which is Win10 and no updates were pushed and the browser is fine. So i think there is an issue with the Win7 update listed below.

Okay just kidding apparently. The browser was there and fine for awhile. As soon as i went into a Generative Outcome file the browser disappeared again. I need to do some more digging here.

Okay more testing. It seems to be inconsistent but here is what I have.

Open Fusion 360. Untitled Document shows the Browser in place. Create a sketch, feature etc its fine. Save the file, still fine. Click "+" to add a new untitled document and the Browser is gone. Go back to the first file and the Browser is now gone.

Restart Fusion 360. Browser is back. Add a new untitled document and its gone.

Restart Fusion 360. Browser is gone.

Repeated a few more times, no Browser.

Really no clue whats going on here.

Still at a loss as to the why, but after going to View > Show Browser and restarting Fusion the Browser now seems to stay on. If it goes away again i will update this post.

This seems to be another one of Fusion's frequent bugs that seem to have existed for years and years because Autodesk has no quality control
