[BUG] patch tool doe not create patch

The patch tools shows in the preview how the patch looks like when completed.
After pressing OK it creates a patch feature in the timeline but there is no surface body in the browser or a warning/error message that says something went wrong.

So no error message is one bug an this simple, flat patch should definitely be created without problems, that would be another.

Thank you for reporting the issue! I have logged this with the development team for further investigation. (FUS-46439)

You may have found a workaround already but I was able to work around this issue by creating a project sketch and perform Patch command with the sketch.

Yes, but no sketch projection for me. I try to avoid projected sketch elements sketches where practical. I extruded a patch from an already existing sketch element and trimmed it 😉
