Emboss issue

Hi all,

Trying to emboss some text, but it's embossing in an angle... how to make it straight ?

create a text on path (arc) and play with the radius

You can also Emboss to an external cylinder and then trim off what you want using a offset surface copy of the vase shape. Model is attached.

Thanks for your reply, what about deboss? I'd like to "cut" into the model but to keep the same depth.

Using your example I've tried to "Cut" instead of "Join", but the cut for some letters it's deeper than the others..

You did not originally specify which type of Emboss you desired. Your model with the letters cut into the vase is attached.

Managed to cut into the model using a second offset surface. First offset to 0 and second one to -0.4 and then I've split the bodies from letters and combined them with the original model. Thanks for your help.
