I was trying to edit a step file and move some faces to resize this model and I have an issue with a fillet on other side of model and error

Warning: The fillet/chamfer could not be created at the requested size. This might be occurring at the ends of the selected edges.
Try adjusting the size or using multiple separate operations. Check that the selected edge chain ends at a sensible position, and if not try selecting more edges.

Sorry my post was double worded somehow, lol

There is a youtube link provided, let me figure out what a screencast is, I guess that is not acceptable.

Sorry, I missed the attached video. Normally screencast are used. All you need to do is attach the STEP file.

You did not say how you wanted to resize the model. Overall, use the Scale command. If you want to do one direction, split the body, Press-Pull the bodies together and then use the Combine command. Let all know exactly how you want the resizing to be done and you can get a more specific answer. Take a look at the screencast.

Thanks, yes split should work.

Yes I want to scale via a slice or plane and retain dimensions, as in the my video, since moving faces isnt working for me, split will work, although ill have to do it 3 or more times probably, so it is a bit convoluted, faces would be nice, so I still am curious if that is a bug I can post a new thread for that.

I do have a problem here though, what is design mode? I have no design mode, I am in model, i see no option for import or open, not sure how you get those options or I woukd have found split and figured it out.

is this direct modeling? The webpage is broken so I cannot seem to find information on it?

http://help.autodesk.com/view/fusion360/ENU/?guid=GUID-DCC3B4DD-8853-40E5-AA33-1839092C99BF

404 not found...

thanks so much for your help

I have decided to switch to the UI Preview (User Interface Preview) mode so the wording for the workspaces changes. Model in the old interface changes to Design in the UI preview. I switch by checking the option in my Preferences. If you are just learning Fusion 360, you probably should stay in the old interface because most of the tutorials use it.

To open a file, from your computer without uploading it to the web database first, just use the Open command as shown.

Oh is this the new UI ? I will check that out!

I have found split body regardless and have figured it out fairly well, now trying to figure out how to move to a projection line, I cannot seem to get a plane created on it, maybe Ill check on construction lines since I need to move a body to a projection line in 1 axis only.

I have no open... thats odd.
