The software does not maintain the position of the object when trying to move it (but it turns automatically) when it is moved by + 90 ° and -90 °. It is possible to see it on the second 26. How is it possible ?

Thanks for posting! I tried to recreate the behavior from your screencast in a new file but was unable to - would you mind sharing the file you used with me? I'm happy to have a look.

I'm also curious - does this behavior occur in every file, or only particular ones?

Hello, thanks for the reply.
The problem occurs on every file.
I no longer have that object and I have created another one that I share.
The important thing to do is to put the object on the xy plane and turn from the top right cube to + 90 ° or - 90 ° and then move it. You will notice that as soon as you try to move the object, it moves automatically from the opposite side.

Non ho più quell'oggetto e ne ho creato un altro che condivido.
La cosa importante da fare è mettere l'oggetto sul piano xy e girare dal cubo in alto a destra di + 90 ° o - 90 ° e quindi spostarlo. Noterete che appena si cerca di muovere l'oggetto questo si sposta dalla parte opposta in automatico.

Thanks for posting! Unfortunately I am still unable to reproduce this issue. I've shown the behavior on my end in the screencast below.

I'm curious if this could be due to an error during a Fusion 360 update - does the problem continue after a clean uninstall/reinstall of Fusion 360?

Also, are you using a Z-up or Y-up preference? I tested with both but could not force the behavior in your screencast to occur.

I uninstalled Fusion 360 with the recommended tool.
Unfortunately the problem persists and I have the same problem on 3 different PC stations.
Unfortunately it is a fairly annoying problem.
Y UP is set.

Thanks for the response! I've still been unable to reproduce with Y-up settings, but am curious if you receive the same behavior with Z-up set. Please let me know.

I also wonder if you have any peripheral drivers that could be triggering this behavior - are you using a SpaceMouse or any other devices? If so, does the problem persist if you uninstall or update the drivers?

I'd also recommend ensuring that your graphics drivers are fully up to date.

Also, does the same issue occur if you hit the "Escape" key before rotating the viewcube - this may indicate that a command is still active for some reason. Also, can you confirm which navigational controls you are using?

Also, are you holding the SHIFT key while using the viewcube? If so, does the behavior occur if you do not?

Hopefully this helps! I'll continue trying to force the behavior on my end and will update this thread with any progress.

Hi @laromosrl

I discussed this issue with the team and @ryan.bales found he was able to reproduce this issue using the following steps:

Hold shift
Use middle mouse to orbit
MAINTAIN HOLDING SHIFT
Click an ORTHO (flat face) view on the cube
Click the rotate 90 degree arrow
Use middle mouse button to rotate
View is thrown off

When using the viewcube, you do not need to hold the shift key. I hope this helps!

Hi, by clicking on the orbit button at the bottom, it is solved, and then give a new problem. Returning to the orbit and using it from there, then everything works.
