yeah, up until now I had no trouble doing local renders. The ones you see below were made a while ago. It was just this time that it stopped working out of nowhere... I did try changing the view and that didn't help. I also saved and restarted Fusion to test if it would fix it but that was not the case. To be honest I haven't tried to render other projects. May be it's a problem isolated to this specific design.

The rendering tool seems to be broken for me. I try to do a local rendering but it just stops and says: "The specified rendering could not be found." when I open the image in the render gallery. It just freezes the process and if I had to guess, I think the render engine is crashing. Could you please help? I checked my task manager and Fusion is definitely not using all the RAM it should be using to render stuff like this. Which means nothing is happening even tho there is a progress bar at the bottom (on the thumbnail in the gallery). Cheers and thank you

Hi @Anonymous

I found this answer from @SallyDong2005 :

This error is caused by the query failure. This is a known issue and we are working on it. It will make you cannot view your rendering, but the rendering may in progress or complete. please switch to model work space and then go back to render work space to refresh the render gallery, it may back to normal.

Basically it looks like if you reset Fusion by switching workspaces, it might repair itself for you. Does that work?

Hi @karina.harper !

Thanks you for your reply :). But sadly I dont think what you say applies to my case. When I change to the model work space and then back to rendering again, the rendering job I had in queue just disappears. And by checking the stats on my workstation's Task Manager, I know for sure Fusion stops the rendering process when the workload on my RAM drops about 70%. It just stops rendering and doesn't even show progress on the thumbnail. When I change work spaces I cant find it anymore, as if there was no rendering in queue at all. I solved it for now by rendering it on the cloud, but still it's kind of a pain, I like to render everything locally. Could it be something related to the materials I am using? Or maybe because I'm trying to render a complex organic shape with a lot of components?

Cheers and thanks again!

I see quite a few other renders in your album, are you able to complete other local renders? Was it something about that position? Does it work if you restart Fusion? What about changing the view slightly?

Hm, it might be. Can you try rendering another design? See if it works?

Also, you might try re-installing Fusion.

Hello again @karina.harper !

Thanks for the constant support. I might have found the cause of the bug. Apparently it was the appearance that was causing the problems. I was trying to render my design on a metallic red appearance and it just wasn't working. So I tried rendering other designs and it was a total success. After that, to further isolate the problem, I tweaked here and there on the problematic design's render-settings and, with trial and error, I found out that as soon as I have too much metallic materials with high reflection settings in the rendering work space: Fusion stops working properly. It also might be because I render almost all of my views on 3840 x 2160 pixels, which is quite high def... Not 100% sure what it is but at least I can render again, just not with the specific material that I'd like to render my design in. Is this only happening to me? Should I uninstall and reinstall Fusion? If it's a common issue, I think it's worth looking into. Hope this also helps others that might have the same problem. I guess I'll have to tone it down with metallics now?

Thanks again! Cheers

I don't think you need to reinstall Fusion.

This seems like it might be a unique case, but if I can reproduce it I can log it with the team to look into.

Can you share the file with me in its broken state?
