Extrude from Component 1 to Component 2 doesn't update

I created a pipe component by extruding from fitting 1 to fitting 2.

Fitting 1 and Fitting 2 are joined via slider

When I update the join between F1 & F2, the extruded component does not change.

Here's a link to the Fusion model.

The screenshot shows the extruded pipe highlighted that is not changing length when the join between F1 & F2 are changed.

I apologize.

I'm having a lot of trouble with Fusion360 NOT sharing files even though they are shared.

I was just on a conference call with my customer regarding this issue.

I have un-shared and re-shared this file many times attempting to get past the "OOPS we can't find this page" from Autodesk. I will put a support case in for that next.

Fusion can do this, if I understand the problem correctly. But, it is important to understand the way the timeline works in Fusion. If you move the component after the extrude, then it will not update to the new position. However, if you go back and update the component position before the extrude, it will update correctly. Usually, the easiest way to do this is by editing a Capture Position that occurs before the extrude. Here is a screencast:

I'm not sure I can make your scenario work with what I have.

Are you able to open the link and download the design? I ask, because I've have a lot of trouble with sharing Fusion 360 links. This one in particular has given me a lot of trouble. It works sometimes, but not often.

I would be interested to see if you can reproduce the results of your suggestion based on a design of this complexity and length of timeline.

The link works fine. I've seen problems with Win 10 Windows Explorer and recommend Chrome.

Can you elaborate what F1 and F2 are and maybe create a screencast so we have a better understanding where the problem is ?

See the screencast below for an explanation on your specific model. I agree that this workflow is not easy to understand, but it is somewhat baked into the way that Fusion works.
