Here you go. Oddly, I don't recall the second warning message being there initially.

Thanks

I get the following:

Warning: Extrude4
1 Reference Failures - Curves tracked in old profile are not coplanar anymore. The downstream result may be not your intent.

Surely this type of "warning" isn't? Is there scope to have informational messages rather than flagging this type of thing a warning?

Can I suppress this somehow?

Thanks

Suppressing error messages in not a good idea. Fixing the root cause, on the other hand is a good idea.

Can you share your model ? (export as .f3d and attach to next post)

@iotPZF5K - yes, please do share the model here. I just tried to reproduce what I thought would generate that warning, but I got a much different message. So, I'd love to see how it was you were able to get this error to appear.

A bit of background: Extrude only works on planar profiles. So, if you've edited your sketch to produce a non-planar profile (for example, by dragging part of the profile away from the sketch plane), that's what my theory was behind how you got this error message. However, I got a different error (profile not found).

i've gotten this message too, sad to see there is no explanation of whatever on earth its actually trying to imply.

i made a circle at an angle relative to a face (to represent an angular hole into that face) and extruded it in two directions and then i get this message, can i carry on? what on earth has it changed? why might my downstream result not be what i intend? what is meant by curves tracked in old profile are not co planar anymore? is that not what i wanted to do when i set the circle at an angle?

it would be nice to have some way to be given a breakdown of what some of the gibberish actually implies in these error messages. i have them all over every model i make hahaha
