I don't have a case number because the email that I sent was in response to an email that was informing me of an upcoming webinar. The person who sent it wrote that she reads and replies to all emails, soo I figured I would email her directly.

I signed up for that webinar and hope to view others, however I really wish there were step by step tutorials available to methodologically teach the (updated) software...

Outdated tutorials

I downloaded Fusion 360 last week and have been going through the Absolute Beginner tutorials. Turns out the version that is being used to teach from is not the latest version of the software, and some of the differences are so significant that many of the lessons are effectively useless. For instance, the new version doesn't have a Patch workspace, so all references to it, along with finding tools on the toolbar associated with Patch are irrelevant! Although I was able to poke around and figure some of the things out anyway, it turned one lesson from 5 minutes to over 20 minutes, and in many cases I just could not find a way to figure out how to accomplish all the tasks in the videos. That's just one example.

I sent an email about this and was told, "We recently had a UI update so you can image with the amount of learning content we have this is slowly being chipped away at. I will pass your feedback along to the team."

Well, that's not too helpful to me right now. I'm curious, how recent was this update anyway? How they could release such a massive update to the software without updating their tutorials in tandem is beyond me.

Either way, are there any UPDATED tutorials available online? If it's slowly being chipped away, have some of the new tutorials been released? I couldn't find any on YouTube either. Any suggestions?

Thank!

I downloaded the latest version on 24th October 2021 and also went to the tutorials only to find the images and placement of tool are not there. I would also like to know where I can find a tutorial that will coincide with the new version. I urgently await some reply as I just received my 3d printer and would love to do my own thing. I am retired and do this now as a hobby to keep me occupied. software looks awsome, must just learn to use it.
