Sometimes after fusion crashes the design file is locked out and I can not reopen it. Looking on fusion Teams the file is still in uses even after all Autodesk services are stopped and the computer is restarted. Its most definitely something in the backend where a connection wasn't gracefully closed. There are even older files where the OS install that it was last accessed on has been overwritten and they are still locked out.

I'm ruing windows 10x64 with fusion version 2.0.5511

Hi @Anonymous ,

Thanks for posting! What happens when you try to open the file? Is there a blue spinning circle on the thumbnail of the file in fusion? Or does just nothing happen?

Have you looked through the suggestions in this article? Particularly the clearing the upload meter and the local cache. Whoever it says the file is "in use" by should perform these steps as well.

Thanks,

I get the Blue Spinning Circle and then Fusion Crashes. I went through the steps in the article that you provided and that didn't fix the problem. After copying and reuploading the file I can access it but there is still an old version in there that I can't do anything with. Also, no crash report windows are provided
