Since the latest update on MANUFACTURE post process the WCS Offset has stopped working. As I would normally write in '2' to change my work offset to a 'G55' or '3' to become 'G56' and so on... They are not registering and staying as 'G54' whatever I change it to which is causing problems for us. Hope to get a reply soon.. Thanks.

Hi @benjamin,

Thanks for raising your query onto Autodesk Fusion 360 forum.

I have tested changing the WCS Offset to 2 and 3 and I was getting the correct work offset in the output as G55 and G56. I have tested this with the default Fanuc Post Processor. Please have a look at the small video showing the behavior at my end,

To help you better in this case, can you let us know the Post Processor you are using? Is the Post Processor you are using a customized one? If it is, can you kindly upload the Post Processor you are using to the next post so that I can have a look at it?

Thanks for your time and co-operation.

Regards,

Hi @benjamin,

I have tried taking output from your supplied Post Processor and I was not able to reproduce your problem. Please have a look at the small video showing the behavior at my end,

I also tried comparing your supplied Post Processor Hurco TPZ.cps with the default hurco.cps Post Processor and found no changes made to WCS code. Please let me know whether I am missing something to replicate the problem you are facing? Is it a project specific?

Thanks and Regards,

I'm having a very similar problem. No matter what I set the WCS Offset to I get G54 in the code.

I read the post and did not see how you solved the problem.

Can you give details.

Hi, I sometimes still get the problem as well, for some reason it is just project based, it works fine most of the time then the odd project I try the WCS offset it doesn't seem to work. I'm not sure of the reason for this, I only know it started happening after the most recent update.

I tried various different Post files and it does the same with all of them.

I'll just add that to the growing list of things I have to watch out for, things that should have been caught and fixed before releasing it to the public. Reminds me of something I would get from a third world country.

Sorry about the slur but it's frustrating to have a piece of software that's critical to my business and I can't rely on it.
