BUG: Boundary Fill.

@Phil.E Found another bug working with a component moved using a joint.

Here you can see I've positioned component1 with a joint.

If I then try using boundary fill in component2 it looks good in the preview

But when I click OK I get the whole part.

But if I position the second component to the same as the first it works OK.

File's attached. Just delete the second joint and you'll see the problem.

Thanks Mark

@samuel.templeUCPAE Thank you for looking into this.

I've found another situation where boundary fill if failing using copied components.

I wanted to machine some soft jaws in the manufacture workspace and needed a copy of the jaws for the stock model. I found I can create a copy of any one component but can't copy all 3 at one go.

So this looks OK but fails and only gives you one body and a warning. See attached file. This will work with bodies but I needed components to create an assembly.

@samuel.templeUCPAE wrote:

Hello @HughesTooling

Thank you again.
Could you possibly send me a screen recording of both workflows if possible?

@samuel.templeUCPAE Sorry don't have any recording software.

It is quite easy to reproduce the problem with my file. Just delete the combine from the timeline, then create a new combine and select a the 3 rectangular bodies as the tools, then select each one as the cells. This should create 3 copied bodies but you will only get one and the combine in the timeline will have an error.

This should work and does if you only pattern bodies but I needed to use a component pattern for my assembly.
