can a decal position be 'configured'?

I've looked a little bit with no success, but I'd like to learn if it is possible to position a decal using configurations. I have a configured body that changes in diameter. I have a decal that I would like to fix at a certain distance from the perimeter. I could also use a proportion of the diameter of course. The only decal features I can find that are configurable are its presence. It does have features when placed that can be modified for placement, etc. but if they can be configured after installing I have yet to figure that out

Insert the decal into a component and position it with a rigid joint.

Can you elaborate on that? I have found no way of configuring anything like a dimension or a scale, only the presence

took me a bit to comprehend what your video was showing, you moved away from some of the things you were demonstrating a little quickly. Came back to it today and the light bulb went on
