Hello,

I used Fusion 360 to render a PCB that was created with Eagle. I did this with several projects and it worked well but now I got some problems. First, the PCB has some strange colour faults (the pcb is not solid green, some parts are grey/black). Second, the rendering is very low quality even after some hours of rendering which worked well last time.

Thank you very much!

@ryan.bales this has come up in at least one more recent thread and I believe you were involved. It looks to me that there is a Z-fighting problem, but in the project that was shared in that other there was no duplicate geometry. I believe this is a bug!

Usually images applied to geometry are applied as a decal or even better as a texture. However Eagle based designs do that as a canvas (IIRC). That seems a really odd choice as a Canvas main use is not for rendering.

Hello all, I have the same issue when rendering a Eagle PCB Board in Fusion 360. Rendering is ok except the board has strange artefacts. See pictures. I tried to avoid this failure with a manual generated silcscreen/stopmask in gimp an attach as picture --> no solution. Changing dielectrical priority to fix for board to 0 and components to ex. 1 --> less artefacts, bot not usable

I'm using Fusion 360 Personal 2.0.7046

Regards Martin

dielectric priority changedefault settings
