Yes, definitely wouldn't turn the timeline off, but then if you have the timeline would you ever use Press Pull to modify a radius anyway? Only time i can think of is if you've imported a part from McMaster but then it will be in a Base Feature, so if you edit the base feature press pull will work in direct edit mode.

Hi,

Press pull doesn't give me the option to modify from existing radius. It start from 0 not from the radius, this is happening every time with each radius .

Press Pull command will work on any radius face just fine. Your attached screen capture shows you creating a solid body from a sketch. Once this is done, you can up the Press Pull command to change the radius of the body. It will not work on the edge of a sketch only, it will work on the edge of a body. Take a look at the screencast. If this does not clear it up for you, re-post your question with a little more detail.

@jhackney1972 The trouble is the offset is from zero not the actual radius of the part. If you disable history you get this, which is a lot more useful.

With history enabled, for the length you actually get the existing length to work from, of course the difference is you're modifying the feature from the timeline rather than modifying something driven by a sketch.

Thanks for clearing up the poster question, I understand his and your point now. I have always treated Press Pull like an offset command where I am adding to the existing. I do not have to know the existing measure in order to add material. I can see it both ways though. The new Offset Face command works the same as the Press Pull command.

One thing for sure, I will not delete my timeline to have the Press Pull command report the existing radius, that act will bring up other problems.
