Need help splitting a body

Hey guys,

I am pretty new to fusion and could use a hand. Attached is an STP file I am working with, in it you will see two bodies. The one body(body4) is just body2 flattened out. I need help splitting body4 up into smaller sections that I would be able to cut on a hot wire foam machine.

Body 4?

Ok, you place Construction Planes, as required, and then

Split Body Command, select the body, then the offset plane I created for the demo.

So how do I select where I want those construction planes?

Your design intent dictates that, how would I know what to tell you,

your machine size, surely has some influence on your decision.

I initially could not figure out how to set them away from the main axis which was the intent of my question. I have since figured that out and what you suggested worked. Thank you.
