Is it possible to duplicate a set of components connected by joints with the joints intact?

I have a collection of components connected to each other with sliding joints within another component. I wish to mirror the complete collection across a mid plane.

When I initially created the joints Fusion360 placed them within the enclosing component. I tried mirroring the collection but the joints were left behind. I thought I might mirror the joints but they were, of course, not selectable from within the _Mirror_ function.

I then tried _Activating_ just one of the inner components and creating the joint thereon. Again Fusion360 placed the joint into the enclosing component.

What am I doing wrong here?

you are not doing anything wrong. Component Mirror will not duplicate the joints in the source. You will have to re-apply the joints in the destination manually. The main reason for that is that Joints are coordinate system based, and a mirrored joint would require left-handed coordinate systems which Fusion does not support.

Thank you. I assumed such was the case but held out a vain hope that I wouldn't need to recreate a bunch of joints.
