Can't access hidden profile to mirror an object on it as shown in tutorial

Hi to all...
I'm a beginner of Fusion 360 and worked one jear with Onshape before.
Now I'm interested on Fusion 360 for private use. Therefore I made some tutorials to come closer with the program.
In one of these I can't select a profile to mirror an earlier created object (cylinder) on it as it was shown in the video of the tutorial.

I made a Screencast which described my problem the best way.

My question is: what goes wrong here between the tutorial and my work. I did not find any similar problem anywhere.

I also attached my f3d-file I worked on.

If someone will have an idea about that, I will be glad.

The mirror must always be a flat surface.

Hi,
if you want to mirror the big hole, the mirror is the profile of the object*.
Mirror > option: features > select feature in timeline > mirror plane > hover over the body > select profile > ok.

Thanks for your answer.
And: yes, that is exactly my problem. When I hover over the body I can't select the profile, even not when I press the button of the mouse longer to get the drop down list. Profile does not appear. I have only access to the outer faces. The profile is not choosable. Also when I mask the body to have free access to the profile (see picture)

I can select the three origins (xy, xz, yz - red arrows) but not the desired profile, the sketch 1.

It seems to be completely deactivated.

Did you try that with the f3d file I attached?

I made some additional screenshots. A simple sketch and five steps till my problem appears.

Hope it makes it more clear.

I have exactly the same problem with the same tutorial (https://help.autodesk.com/view/fusion360/ENU/?guid=SLD-TUT-1-WORK-WITH-NEW-SKETCH). Was this ever resolved?

No, this was not resolved.
I only got two or three answers which described how to do it (as shown in tutorial), but

...as you said: exactly this does not work.

If you get ever a solution - let me know.

Selecting a profile for mirror - don’t think it is allowable.

Slip of the tongue in the tutorial? Older than current functions in Fusion now.

Hide the C/L sketch.

Mirror has been upgraded, mirror a half body now incorporates Join or New Body, with Join the upgrade.

Finish one side of the body, and mirror the finished half body with Join option, using the face or Origin Plane.

To remain as true to the tutorial, Mirror > Feature, and Select Origin Plane.
