Hi Gunther,

Thanks for the response, I do it like that but it keeps reverting back to the "shaded" option. I want to know how to get it to always show with visible edges (like as in set the default to with visible edges)

Kind regards

Michael Mullineux

Hi,

same thing happens over here: Fusion360 reverts back to shades instead of "shaded with visible edges only" while switching between different files.

I have 3 files open and move back and forth through these to compare the designs. I have set the visual style to "shaded with visible edges only" on all 3 documents but somehow this reverts back to "shaded" a lot of times (about every 3-5 times I switch between the open documents).

I have not seen this behavior before - it suddenly appeared to do so over the weekend.

Regards,

Rob

I have noticed the same thing as well. I keep having to hit CTRL-6 to switch it back. It wasn't doing it before, maybe a performance fallback?

VIsual Style Problem persists...
I do not see this issue beeing fixed or a proper solution provided. Switching the keyboard-language seems to be totally absurd and not an option to me. I have the same experience on Mac (Ventura 13.5.2 (22G91)). I can hardly work like that and it keeps switching back some components to wireframe, some are not displayed at all. So far only using the wireframe visual styles work. Others are somewhat broken.

Please fix this. Thank you!

Is changing keyboard laungage a known fix for this?

I've had this bug for 3 years now.
It automatically and randomly switches back to my previous visual style.
Sometimes associated with a view rotation or mouse click, but sometimes without warning.

My only option has been to mash CNTRL-6 reguarly while designing, like I'm battling the software....

Ctrl+6 doesn't work for me, however Ctrl+7 (Wireframe ) does....but I only switch when I need to check something, its quite good during simulation as you get shading as well, however, after I have to switch back....wireframe does my head in after a while.
