Wrong color profile in Local Render

I have a problem with rendering.
Images rendered "In-Canvas Render" are OK, but using "Lokal Render" is wrong color profile.
Please give me a hint how to solve this problem.

I can see a slight difference in the colour palette of the environment:

Tire Rendering

Could you help me point the differences in the profile/model itself? Does it occur for specific textures/appearances? If so, which appearances are displayed incorrectly?

Hi Paweł

The image is very contrasting, the colors are very saturated, there is a lot of blue in the shadows and neutral colors.

thanks for the examples! I have the following questions:

How many iterations of the in-canvas rendering are you running?
Which image formats are you saving the output of the in-canvas rendering / local rendering to? Is it the same format?
Have you limited the resolution of the in-canvas rendering (within In-Canvas rendering settings)?

Hi,

I tried to render in various formats (JPG, PNG, TIFF), I also limited the resolution but it doesn't change anything. Local Render generates bad colors. Yesterday my OS X 10.13.6 downloaded a new upgrade, today I have re-instaled Fusion 360. Until recently, everything worked OK using the same settings. There used to be a problem with Local Rendering (it didn't work) but it was removed, maybe it has something to do with it.

Hi @Anonymous,

I reached out to our developers and what they believe is happening is that the tonemapping is different. Try to use Post Processing (Custom) for a local rendering, in particular the following options:

Color Preserving and Correction

Note that one is not one right and one wrong. They are just two perceptually different interpretations of a High Dynamic range result.

Hi @Anonymous,

Yes, it seems that the Post-Processing option is not available for local rendering. I would like to inform you that there is a new release available for Fusion 360. Can you kindly try upgrading to the latest release Fusion 360 build 2.0.6231 and see if this renders the model in Local rendering as required?

thank you for getting interested in my problem.
I did an upgrade but unfortunately the local rendering colors are still bad. Post-Processing option works only in the cloud.

Hi @Anonymous,

Sorry to hear that you are still facing the problem. In the log 6 of this thread you mentioned that this problem started after upgrading you Mac OS X 10.13.6. I will suggest you to try restoring your system to the date before you have installed the updates for Mac OS X 10.13.6 and see if it resolves the issue.

Thanks for your patience and bringing this to our notice.

We were able to replicate the behavior and had reported this unwanted behavior to the development team. Development team are working on this. I will keep you updated on the progress on this.

In the meantime; I will suggest you to kindly use In-canvas rendering as you mentioned that you are getting correct/Ok result using the In-canvas rendering.
